W czasie wojny polsko-bolszewickiej 4 sierpnia 1920 r. na polach Paproci i Pęchratki 201 ochotniczy pułk piechoty poniósł ogromne straty w walce z bolszewikami. Szczątki poległych spoczywają w zbiorowej mogile w Paproci Dużej. Z uwagi na dużą liczbę harcerzy w szeregach pułku nazwano go „harcerskim”. Mogiła jest usytuowana za wsią, po prawej stronie drogi prowadzącej do miejscowości Pęchratka Mała. Ma formę kurhanu, na którego szczycie ustawiono wysoki krzyż drewniany. During the Polish-Bolshevik war on August 4, 1920, on the fields of Paproci and Pęchratki, the 201st Volunteer Infantry Regiment suffered huge losses in the fight against the Bolsheviks. The remains of the fallen rest in a mass grave in Paproci Duza. Due to the large number of scouts in the ranks of the regiment, it was called "scout". The grave is located behind the village, on the right side of the road leading to the village of Pęchratka Mała. It has the form of a mound with a tall wooden cross on top.
