Budynek Trybunału Wojskowego w Budapeszcie przytłacza swym ogromem. Wzniesiono go na potrzeby wojska w 1915 r. według projektu J. Huebnera. Służył on jednocześnie jako areszt wojskowy, sąd i więzienie. Podczas II wojny światowej w budynku znajdowała się główna siedziba gestapo, a w 1945 r. centrum dowodzenia tajnej policji komunistycznej. Obecnie znajdują się tu biura sądu wojskowego, prokuratury krajowej oraz głównego wydziału dochodzeniowego policji.
The building of the Military Tribunal in Budapest is overwhelming with its enormity. It was built for the needs of the army in 1915 according to the design of J. Huebner. It served simultaneously as a military detention center, a court and a prison. During World War II, the building was the headquarters of the Gestapo, and in 1945 the command center of the secret communist police. Currently, there are offices of the military court, the national prosecutor's office and the main police investigation department.
