Neoromańskie wieżyczki Baszty Rybackiej powstały w 1895 r. z inicjatywy architekta F. Schulka, pragnącego dopełnić otoczenie świeżo wyremontowanego kościoła Macieja.
W średniowieczu ten plac służył jako targowisko rybne i broniony był przez rybaków, stąd obecna nazwa murów. Z tarasów Baszty Rybackiej roztacza się przepiękny widok na peszteńskie nabrzeże Dunaju.
Fisherman's Bastion in Budapest. The Neo-Romanesque turrets of the Fisherman's Tower were built in 1895 on the initiative of the architect F. Schulk, who wanted to complement the surroundings of the newly renovated Maciej's Church.
In the Middle Ages, this square served as a fish market and was defended by fishermen, hence the current name of the walls. The terraces of the Fisherman's Tower offer a beautiful view of the Pest Danube embankment.
Fischerbastei in Budapest. Die neoromanischen Türme des Fischerturms wurden 1895 auf Initiative des Architekten F. Schulk erbaut, der die Umgebung der neu renovierten Maciej-Kirche ergänzen wollte.
Im Mittelalter diente dieser Platz als Fischmarkt und wurde von Fischern verteidigt, daher der heutige Name der Mauern. Von den Terrassen des Fischerturms bietet sich ein wunderschöner Blick auf das Pester Donauufer.
Halászbástya Budapesten. A Halásztorony neoromán tornyai 1895-ben épültek F. Schulk építész kezdeményezésére, aki a frissen felújított Maciej-templom környezetét kívánta kiegészíteni. A középkorban ez a tér halpiacként szolgált, és halászok védték, innen ered a falak mai neve. A Halásztorony teraszairól gyönyörű kilátás nyílik a pesti Duna rakpartra.
