Przez północną Bramę Wiedeńską wędrowano z Góry Zamkowej z Budapesztu do Wiednia, stolicy Austrii. Dawniej nosiła ona nazwę sobotnia, ze względu na odbywający się przed nią cotygodniowy targ. Obecną formę nadano bramie w czasie odbudowy przeprowadzonej w 1936 r.
Obok przejścia stoi pomnik upamiętniający odbicie Budy z rąk tureckich, autorstwa B. Ohmanna. Rzeźba przedstawia postać anioła podpierającego się na drzewcu krzyża.
Through the northern Vienna Gate people traveled from Castle Hill from Budapest to Vienna, the capital of Austria. In the past, it was called Saturday, due to the weekly market taking place in front of it.
Next to the passage there is a monument commemorating the recapture of Buda from the Turkish hands, by B. Ohmann. The sculpture shows the figure of an angel leaning on the shaft of a cross. The gate was given its current form during its reconstruction in 1936.
Durch das nördliche Wiener Tor reisten Menschen vom Burgberg aus Budapest nach Wien, der Hauptstadt Österreichs. Früher hieß er Samstag, da davor der Wochenmarkt stattfand.
Neben dem Durchgang befindet sich ein Denkmal von B. Ohmann, das an die Rückeroberung Budas aus türkischer Hand erinnert. Die Skulptur zeigt die Figur eines Engels, der sich auf den Schaft eines Kreuzes stützt. Seine heutige Form erhielt das Tor beim Umbau im Jahr 1936.
